So in today’s earlier post I talked about how to buy running shoes. I went into great detail about the proper way to do it to help prevent injury while understanding, of course, there are many other factors that go into preventing injury. This is just one.
Miss Michelle popped in (as I knew she would, the smart ass) to remind me (like I needed reminding) of how she bought her running shoes ::shudder::.
First let me remind you of how I met my husband.
I met him.
Four days later I was engaged.
Don’t do this.
It worked for us.
This is not the norm.
This is rare.
This never ever ever happens.
It’s like…one billionth of a percent that it works out.
We do not condone this.

Miss Michelle walked into Kohls (I think) and bought a pair of minimalist shoes (seriously…the worst for first time shoes) on clearance for like…$5 and they felt comfortable so there you go.
Months later after her husband and I harassed her she went to a running store and had her gait analyzed. She was wearing exactly the shoes that were perfect for her feet. Seriously.
You can’t make this up.
Don’t do this. She’s unusual.
Or…do it at your own risk but if you get injured….don’t be surprised.
Gosh I love her.
