I foam rolled. A lot
How old is it hearing THAT phrase?? LOL. Yep.
It hurt. I’m bruised. But I feel much better.
dun dun DUN…
I ran a MILE!!!
A whole mile. I didn’t even run it slow. Well, I started slow. Then I sped it up. And it didn’t hurt.
Then I rolled again. ha.
I’ll run tomorrow on the actual road with actual mileage and it’ll be a more true test. Three weeks to the last half.
I’m not nervous.
I’m so lying.
The bus trip went without incident. I KNOW. I don’t even know what to say. There’s almost always SOMETHING. But today..nope.
Bus driver, super nice and on time.
Schedule, great and Sean gave me a ride to my connection.
Crazy people on the bus with me? Nope…everyone was nice and normal, or gave the appearance of.
Frankly, it was a tad disappointing.
I was looking for a little excitement to my morning.
So I went to work.
When I got there the phones were going crazy and we weren’t even open. After looking around at my co-workers ignoring the ringing (I’m not usually there that early) I couldn’t take the noise anymore and answered. Frantic on the other end of the line was our other branch.
Apparently, our alarms were going off.
It had been long enough…the cops had been called.
All is well…we were able to “call off the dogs” … so to speak.
This was at 8:45. The first of about 10 crazy things to happen today. Five before 9:15 in the morning.
Who said banking was boring.
I get more joy out of emailing and texting my husband when we’re in the same house than a person really should. He always makes me laugh. Ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous.
Did you read this story about Batkid?
I’m pretty sure my husband is rolling his eyes right now because I went on and on and on about it and it’s on all the news stations so how could you miss it? But I LOVE happy stories like this.
Run on. A mile is a mile is a mile.
